Mrs. Cabrera's Neighborhood In-Home Preschool and Child Care offers a small quality setting, nurturing, diverse, inclusive, and safe environment for children to thrive in all areas of development: social-emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development. School readiness is a priority; we prepare children for Kindergarten by providing them with opportunities to make choices and explore. Learning is achieved through intentional interaction, play, circle time, arts and crafts, music, dramatic play, science, math, reading, etc. To enhance the experience we provide a low student to teacher ratio (1:6) throughout indoor and outdoor activities. We are a participating site partnered with Orange County Department of Education through Quality Start Orange County. A quality rating and improvement system (QRIS) that provides a framework for defining high quality early care and education centers and family child care homes (California Department of Education, Jan 28, 2025).
