Mrs. Cabrera’s Neighborhood Preschool & In-Home Childcare. We offer a small quality care setting, nurturing, and safe environment for children to thrive in all areas of development: social-emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development. We provide school readiness by providing children with opportunities to explore, play, learn, and discover. At Mrs. Cabrera’s Neighborhood learning is achieved through authentic and meaningful interactions. An anti-bias, inclusive, diverse, and student led preschool curriculum is implemented. Our qualified and recognized teachers offer a quality Spanish dual immersion and STEAM program. To enhance experience, we provide a low student to teacher ratio of 1 teacher to 6 children. 

Mrs. Cabrera’s Neighborhood is a QualityStart OC participating site. QualityStart OC is a community partnership, led by the Orange County Department of Education, focused on raising the quality of early learning programs across the county.  QualityStart OC focuses on four key areas Raising Community Awareness, Supporting Parents, Supporting Educators and Care Providers, and Operating the QualityStart OC QRIS (Quality Rating & Improvement System). Funded through the grants from the California Department of Education and First 5 CA, QualityStart OC QRIS sets standards for early learning program quality, rates programs on a five-star scale, and provides resources to support continuous quality improvement (such as coaching, training, and technical assistance).
